The Ardent Roof Systems Annual Charity Golf Tournament is back, and we’re excited to invite you to a day filled with golf, giving, and community support. On Friday, July 11th, 2025, join us at The Ranch Golf & Country Club for an unforgettable event that not only promises a fantastic day on the greens but also supports an incredibly important cause: the Stollery Children’s Hospital and its Child Life Program.
The tournament kicks off with a delicious breakfast to fuel you for 18 holes at one of Edmonton’s most stunning golf courses. Starting at 8:00 AM, the Texas Scramble format will keep things fun and competitive for all skill levels. You’ll enjoy on-course beverages, snacks, and exciting prizes throughout the day, making it a perfect opportunity to network with colleagues, friends, and fellow supporters.
After your round of golf, unwind with a refreshing beverage and browse the incredible silent auction items up for grabs. The day will conclude with a mouthwatering steak dinner prepared by the renowned culinary team at The Ranch—a perfect way to celebrate a successful event while making a direct impact on the lives of children and families in need.
Every year, the Ardent Roof Systems Annual Charity Golf Tournament raises funds for the Stollery Children’s Hospital, specifically supporting their Child Life Program. The Child Life Program at the Stollery provides critical support to children who are undergoing medical treatment. With specialized training in trauma reduction and the emotional effects of illness, the Child Life Specialists help make a child’s hospital experience more positive.
This program focuses on emotional support, therapeutic play, procedural preparation, and distraction techniques, all designed to reduce the stress and anxiety that often accompany medical procedures. Whether it’s through music therapy, pet therapy, or offering comforting spaces like The Beach and the Teen Room, the Child Life Program provides children with tools to cope during their time in the hospital. This program truly makes a world of difference to families dealing with serious medical issues, helping them manage the emotional and mental toll of illness.
At Ardent Roof Systems, we are deeply connected to the cause. Our CEO, Stacey Disotell, has a personal connection to the Stollery Children’s Hospital. As a child, Stacey spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals, undergoing multiple surgeries. His experiences growing up in a hospital environment made him acutely aware of how important programs like the Child Life Program are for children and their families.
Stacey knows firsthand how overwhelming hospital stays can be for young patients and their families. It’s why he’s so passionate about supporting the Stollery and its life-changing programs. As a child, Stacey was fortunate enough to have the emotional support and care that helped him through difficult times—and he wants to make sure that every child has access to the same level of care and support. The Child Life Program was instrumental in providing him with comfort and stability during his medical treatments, and he wants to ensure that the next generation of children has that same opportunity.
